Dose-escalation cost visualizer
Dose-tiered pricing means your monthly cost is a staircase, not a number. Enter your provider's price at each tier and how long you expect to spend there; the visualizer shows the staircase, the cumulative total, and the gap between the advertised first step and your actual average.

What the labels say about escalation
Escalation is not a marketing invention — it's how these drugs are labeled. The Zepbound label directs starting at 2.5 mg once weekly for four weeks, then 5 mg, increasing in 4-week steps as directed [1]; the 2.5 mg dose is for initiation and is not approved as a maintenance dosage [2]; maintenance dosages are 5, 10, or 15 mg weekly [3]. The pricing consequence: any plan priced per dose tier guarantees your cost rises during exactly the months marketing calls "from $X". Whetheryour provider prices per tier is a fact to check, not assume — some price flat across doses, which this tool represents as identical tier prices.
Assumptions
Cumulative cost = sum over tiers of (price × months); average = total ÷ total months. The tool assumes you progress through tiers in order and stay the months you enter — real titration is clinician-directed and tolerability-dependent, so treat the output as a budget scenario, not a schedule. Membership fees, labs, and shipping are excluded; add them with thetotal-cost calculator. Dose decisions belong to your clinician; this page only does the arithmetic on prices you enter.
