Methodology

How we score GLP-1 providers

We publish a fixed, 100-point rubric and apply it identically to every provider we review, using only priced data on file — not marketing claims.

Rubric weights (100 points total)

Every provider review is scored against the same fixed categories below. We do not adjust weights per provider. Our stated policy is that no covered company pays for or influences its score — but we hold that as a commitment to be verified at launch, not a proven fact: one unconfirmed commercial relationship (NexLife) is currently open in ourconflicts-of-interest register and must be resolved and disclosed before any unqualified independence claim is published.

Ranking rubric categories, point weights, and evidence requirements
CategoryPointsEvidence required
Pricing transparency and all-in value25Published price page captured with date; every required fee itemised; plan total and monthly equivalent computed by us, not quoted from marketing.
Clinical oversight and care continuity20Named prescriber model, licensure disclosure, follow-up cadence, escalation and adverse-event pathway, continuity when a clinician leaves.
Pharmacy traceability and quality disclosures15Named fulfilling pharmacy or outsourcing facility, registration class, accreditation claims verified against the issuing body, testing disclosures.
Regulatory clarity and consumer disclosures15Accurate compounded-vs-approved language, no implied FDA approval of compounded product, clear risk disclosure, truthful comparative claims.
State access and operational reliability10State-by-state availability verified against the provider's own checkout or support confirmation, with capture dates.
Cancellation, billing and support transparency10Published cancellation route, refund terms, auto-renew disclosure, support channels and any published response-time commitment.
Evidence quality and data availability5How much of the above we could verify independently rather than accept as provider-reported.

Score caps and disqualification rules

  • A provider's score is capped at 70 of 100 points when its dispensing pharmacy is not disclosed to us — undisclosed fulfillment is treated as a material unknown, not a neutral gap.
  • We do not assign a "best overall" designation when a provider's maintenance-dose price cannot be determined from published data.
  • We do not rank a provider when its prescriber model, clinical entity, or pharmacy fulfillment cannot be verified at all.
  • Our policy is that no paid placement, affiliate payment, or advertiser relationship influences any score. Any commercial relationship with a covered provider is recorded in our conflicts-of-interest register rather than assumed absent — and while a relationship there is unconfirmed, we do not assert unqualified independence.

What counts as evidence

Every price and factual claim on this site carries an explicit evidence-status badge:provider-reported (stated on the provider's own page, not independently reproduced by us), third-party-reported (from a dataset we did not originate),primary-source-linked (a citable government, peer-reviewed, or registry source whose claim we have not independently re-verified), unverified (no source on file), or verified by GLP Ranked — reserved for claims where we hold a complete review record: a named reviewer, a review date, an archived capture of the source, and a checksum proving the archive matches what was reviewed. As of the inherited dataset snapshot dated 2026-07-24, zero claims meet that bar. No public data-status route or download is available while reuse rights remain unresolved.

What this methodology does not do

This rubric scores disclosed, priced facts — it is not medical advice, does not assess clinical outcomes for any individual, and does not substitute for verifying licensure, pricing, and pharmacy fulfillment directly with a provider before enrolling. See ourmedical disclaimer.
