Advertising policy
This site currently runs no advertising, no affiliate links, and no sponsored placements. This page states the rules that would govern any advertising before it ever appears, so the rules exist before the money does.
Current state: no advertising
The current build carries no display advertising, no affiliate or referral links, no sponsored content, and no third-party trackers or advertising pixels. If you find anything on this site that behaves like an ad or an affiliate link, treat it as a bug and report it.
One material caveat belongs on this page rather than buried elsewhere: the publisher's relationship with the provider NexLife is currently recorded as unconfirmed in our conflicts of interest register. Until that is resolved, readers should treat coverage of that provider with the same skepticism we apply to every provider-reported claim.
Rules that would govern any future advertising
Any advertising would be visually distinct and labeled "Advertisement" — never styled as a review, comparison row, ranking position, or evidence badge. Advertisers would receive no preview, veto, or edit rights over editorial content, and no notice of unfavorable coverage beyond the same right to respond every covered company has.
Any paid relationship with a company we cover would be disclosed on every page that mentions that company, in the page's disclosure block — not only on this policy page.
What is never for sale
Scores, rankings, evidence statuses, capture dates, "best for" designations, inclusion or exclusion from comparisons, and the order of results are produced by the published methodology and are not available for purchase at any price. A provider cannot pay to be reviewed sooner, scored higher, labeled "verified," or removed from coverage.
